Did God teach humans to physically stone each other to death in the Old Testament?

Jer 51:57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Their graves won't appear - when - He comes to call

What is a ''stone'' ? according to the Word?

Jhn 1:42 And when Jesus beheld him [Peter], he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

Act 4:11 This is the stone [the Spiritual Rock] which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.

1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence , even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Only The Revealer is worthy of revealing it.

Keep this in mind though:

And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Isa 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles [Nations], that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

The first Christians appeared in Antioch

They were told:

Tts 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Mic 1:2 Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 1Cr 3:17 which temple ye are

1Cr 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God?

All [and not just some} are commanded to speak the truth}  Zec 8:16 -  Eph 4:25

1Cr 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?....

Psa 149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword {Word of God] in their hand;

Psa 149:9 To execute upon them the judgment [Already] written: this honor have all his saints.

Hbr 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The saints pass on the Judgment - given already by God - and the angels carry out the punishment

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather - fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

 

Tts 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works.

Jam 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

"Rightly dividing the word of truth" - "careful to maintain good works" - "as lively stones" - "in the face of Jesus Christ" - "who commanded the light to shine" - "To execute upon them the judgment [Already] written" - "and glorify your Father which is in heaven". "This honor have all His saints".  {This is the work of the 'temple' of God.

King David slew ''''the giant'''' of the Philistines {a great mystery] with a 'Stone' Rev 13-16 - a body made of of many.  Later - he went into the 'enemy's camp' with a Great 'Sword' - and he conquered with it. [Do your own homework Let God - and not men - be your Teacher. Ask - and ye shall receive]   [Go after 'the head' - of 'the enemy' - Cut them off]

Ecc 3:5 [There is] A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together.

Isa 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.

Mat 10:34 Think not that I [Jesus] am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. [A Spiritual Sword - which is The Word of God - a Sword that this world hates.  This world refuses to make peace with God because it hates the Second Great Commandment

Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. {They make peace with God]

But even still - the world has a choice:

Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Luk 11:23 He that is not with Me is against Me: and he that gathereth not with Me [In the resurrection of Life] scattereth.

Rev 2:26 He that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.

We are not aloud to say whether any individual is damned...and nor are we aloud to say any individual is saved:

Rom 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Rom 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  we are not aloud to make such judgments

We know that Jesus was saved by the Word of God - and - the eye-witnesses who saw Him being taken up.

Mat 19:18 Thou shalt do no murder [humans were never aloud to physically stone each other to death]

Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not.

Zec 8:17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.

Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Woe unto those who accuse the Holy God of teaching humans to physically stone each other to death.

Jam 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

2Pe 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption

Hbr 10:30 For we know Him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto Me - I will recompense, saith the Lord.
