March 11, 2004 - Commuter trains in Madrid are attacked - 200 died and 1500 were injured
Video of the scene showed the wreckage of the train at Atocha broken in separate parts by the impact of the explosion. The train was hit by three explosions in the front, middle and rear cars, authorities said.
