China deports U.S. church leaders

March 3, 2005

China deported at least 10 foreign church leaders, including eight Americans, and detained 140 Chinese house-church leaders in connection with a training event in the country.

More than 100 security officers from five government agencies raided an office building where the Christians were meeting Feb. 24 in a suburb of Harbin, a major city in northeastern China, the China Aid Association reported.

"To disrupt a normal Christian fellowship meeting and to detain and deport the participants of the same faith from other countries is certainly contrary to the government's claim to guarantee religious freedom in China," said China Aid's president, Bob Fu.

In China - the people are free to study the Bible - which is a Heavenly Command to do so:

2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth. {Divide the Scriptures]

The Chinese leaders are part of the unregistered church movement to which the vast majority of Christians in the country belong. The communist government requires all Protestant church activity to be under control of the official Three-Self Patriotic Movement, which restricts activities such as evangelism and certain teachings.

Mat 18:20 Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

The truth that is not being told here - is that China objects to religions such as the Vatican - as the Vatican has its own nation and its own laws. The same with other large denominations; they abide by their own laws.

The foreigners were interrogated separately and, after 13 hours, were ordered to leave the country within three to five days. The Chinese church leaders were interrogated and released after they gave their home addresses, finger prints and house church affiliations.

Among the deported are American church leaders Rev. Dr. Brad Long, executive director of Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International in North Carolina; and Rev. John Chang, recently retired as president of the general assembly of Reformed Church and now senior pastor of the Grace Christian Church in Flushing, N.Y.

China Aid said the interrogators were said to be well-behaved after the U.S. Consulate in Shenyang City intervened.

According to China Aid's source, some spying devices were installed into the laptop computers carried by the deportees. A source also said the Public Security Bureau confiscated from the pastors the equivalent of about $2,500 cash along with their cell phones.

Separately, the Texas-based group said it has learned from an eyewitness that imprisoned Beijing house-church pastor Zhuohua Cai was tortured for a confession with electric cattle prods by his interrogators. [no proof offered]

The eyewitness told China Aid that Cai was seen physically wounded and spiritually depressed.

"We urge people of all faiths to take action to protest the deportations of these pastors and demand pastor Cai and his wife's immediate release," Fu said. {They broke the laws of the land of China - and not in ignorance either]

Cai, 34, was arrested Sept. 11 in Beijing for printing "illegal religious literatures."

In addition, Cai's wife, Yunfei Xiao, along with her brother, Gaowen Xiao, and sister-in-law, Jinyun Hu, were arrested Sept. 27 while hiding in Hengshan County, Hunan province.

The Cais left a 5-year old son Yabo Cai in the care of his grandmother, who has been constantly harassed by the police, China Aid said. {Again - no proof of that offered]  Nevertheless - just as the U.S. military has those few who think nothing of committing abominable acts when given any authority - certainly China [and ALL other nations] have them also?

How many self-professing teachers are able to hear these?...

1Jo 2:27 The anointing [The Word] which ye have received of Him abideth in you [if you study the Word of Truth], and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter [The Word], which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Lord speaks to BOTH the heavens AND the Earth - the visible AND the invisible:

Deu 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him

As for the ministers and elders:

There are 24 elders - and they are before the Throne which is in heaven.

Hbr 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Hbr 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? [The angels are the ministers]

Isa 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail. {Spoken by the Authority of ALL Christians - the Authority that can not tell a lie]

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

Jhn 8:31  If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

Jhn 8:32 And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.

China's laws do not violate the laws of the New Testament

But the complainers are violating it! thoroughly

They are doing nothing but stirring trouble between the nations.

Are they able to name the 'mate' ?

1Th 5:12 We beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord.

Isa 34:16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. {HUGE Mystery to this world] And there are Scriptures that reveal it.

Jhn 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles [Christians Act 15:23 Act 15:24 ] shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

The self-professing 'Christian' leaders of this world do not know the name - For if they did - they would no longer belong to the houses they have joined themselves to.

Even without knowing 'the name' - it is not hard to understand - that they are violating [according to the Scriptures] the very Authority that they claim to be representatives of.

1Ti 5:13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.

1Ti 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

Let those same complainers stand up within their own nations - to cry out loud in condemnation against the Koran - for teaching that the Son of God [their Saviour] is an abomination} 037.152

1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [The 'son of perdition' is the anti-Christ - and is made up of many members]

Eph 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour.

Well...that didn't take long at expected response...

China lashes out at U.S. on human rights

Yahoo News - Knight Ridders

Mar 3, 2005

BEIJING - China issued a tit-for-tat report card Thursday on human rights in the United States that lambasted the Pentagon for "wanton slaughters" abroad, belittled American elections as awash in special-interest cash and accused U.S. courts of deep-seated racial bias.

The Chinese government report, which portrayed the United States as gun-crazed and unfair to minorities, came three days after the State Department released its annual report on human rights abuses in countries around the world, including China.

It marked the sixth straight year that China has countered the American report with one of its own, but this year's was particularly noteworthy because it condemned the United States for abuses by American soldiers at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.

"We have a strong relationship with China, and the mark of a good relationship is that you sometimes disagree," State Department spokesman Edgar Vasquez said. He declined to comment further on the Chinese report, but said the State Department stood by its own report.

"We think it's well-researched, well-documented and well-substantiated," he said.

China is offended - and rightfully so
